New Ownership at Duffy’s Service Centre

Charlottetown, PE: We are pleased to announce that owners, Fred and Charlene Duffy, have sold Duffy’s Service Centre in Hazelbrook, Prince Edward Island, to Chris Dalziel and Matt MacCallum.

Duffy’s Service Centre offers a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance services to a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, medium sized trucks, mini-vans and SUVs and all trailers (campers, dump trailers, cattle trailers, farm trailers, etc.). The business strives to be a one-stop shop for all required automotive repairs. Fred and Charlene have been operating the business in Hazelbrook since 2004 with Fred running the backend of the shop as a Red Seal Mechanic and Charlene taking care of the frontend of the business.

“Fred and I want to take this time to thank all of our long-standing customers and devoted employees of the business over the years; without them we would not be in the position we are in today,” shared Charlene. “Timing was right and we were very pleased to find a purchaser like Chris and Matt. We feel confident that under the new ownership, the business will continue to provide excellent service to our valued customers.”

Chris Dalziel is also the owner of the Pro Color Collision Charlottetown and Mallett’s Radiator. Pro Color Collision, formerly known as Dalziel’s Auto Body, has been operational for almost 60 years and has a long-standing reputation as one of the most trusted collision repair centres in Prince Edward Island. Mallett’s Radiator has been operational for over 90 years and offers re-cores, repairs, and replacements of radiators whether they’re part of an internal combustion engine system, a cooling motor in a refrigerated trailer, farm equipment, heavy equipment, truck or trailer, as well as air conditioning and heater repairs.

“Duffy’s Service Centre is a great fit with Pro Color Collision Charlottetown and Mallett’s Radiator,” shared Chris. “The business has a reputation for honest, reliable, quality work which is a testament to Fred, Charlene, and the rest of the team at the shop. I am excited to continue working with the many long-standing customers of the business and at the same time grow the customer base while continuing to offer the highest level of service in the automotive repair industry.”

Confederation M&A represented Duffy’s Service Centre on the transaction as their M&A advisors.
