Wonder Auto & Tire Transfers to New Ownership
Fredericton, NB: Wonder Auto & Tire has been transitioned to a new ownership group, effective April 17, 2023. The previous owners, Jim Hatto, Randy Seymour and Tim Wright, announced today that they have sold the business to Dave O’Leary. The deal was facilitated by Confederation M&A, a mergers & acquisition firm with offices in Charlottetown, Fredericton, Halifax and Ottawa.
The business was established in 1977 by Dale, Mac and Brian Fox when Wonder Muffler opened its doors on Regent Street in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Over the 45 years the business has been operational, additional services and locations were added. Jim, Randy and Tim became shareholders in the business in 2007. Today, the business offers a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance services to a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, trucks, mini-vans and SUVs. Wonder Auto & Tire has eight high-profile locations in the two provinces, including two locations in Fredericton (Prospect Street and Main Street), Moncton, Riverview, Saint John, Oromocto, New Glasgow and Halifax. The business has been a dealer with the OK Tire Group since 2015.
