Charlottetown, PE: We are pleased to announce that, effective November 16, 2018, the KKP Print Centre
in Charlottetown (“KKP”) has been purchased by Ben Parsons and Ben Howard of Charlottetown, from
owners Shawn and Troy MacKenzie.
Established in 1984 by Dale and Marg MacKenzie (parents of Shawn and Troy), KKP is the largest quick
and commercial print operation in Prince Edward Island, offering a comprehensive range of high-quality
print and signage services to Atlantic Canadian businesses and individuals. KKP employs 28 team
members at its Euston Street location. KKP has been the recipient of many distinguished awards over the
years, including being named the “Best in World KKP Franchise”, and winning the prestigious
Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce’s Excellence in Business Award. KKP is also well known across
Prince Edward Island for its support and involvement in many community and charitable events.

former owner Shawn MacKenzie. “We wish Mr. Parsons and Mr. Howard many years of continued success

In connection with the purchase, Ben Parsons, CPA, CMA will assume the role of General Manager for KKP.
Shawn and Troy MacKenzie will be staying on with the company to help with the transition and assist Ben
Parsons as he steps into this new role. In addition, all management and employees of KKP will be
retained in connection with the purchase.

The sale of KKP Charlottetown was brokered by Confederation M&A and Cox & Palmer (Charlottetown)
acted as legal counsel to the purchasers in connection with the transaction.
